~ Executive Pastry Chef Alexis Gutierrez
Chef Alex Gutierrez is the Executive Pastry Chef
for Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and Spa, a 400 + room property
in Indian Wells. Before joining Hyatt Grand Champions
Chef Alex was a graduate of Johnson & Wales with an Associate
in Baking and Pastry. Chef Alex had worked in all facets of the
hospitality industry including Restaurants, Casinos, Cruise Ships
before joining up with Hyatt, Dallas in 2001.
Chef Alex would label is his style as contemporary
French with an American twist or vice versa, but he is always trying
to do something more progressive when he has the opportunity. Chef
Alex specializes in plated desserts always striving for the perfect
balance of flavors, textures and of course presentation and appearance!
